Orbital welding

This is my first go at orbital welding with my home-made orbital table. It is back-purged for working with titanium and uses a motor stripped from a 1992 Fiat Panda. I crafted the table and parts from the scrapyard, but had to get some help with the pulley belt (it's custom sized). The result is great, but I'm going to be making some modifications to the welded ring to make it more smooth.

As a neighbor to Mark, I saw this in action… wow what inventiveness! Perfect welds.
So Mark, I need to know about that Custom Bike book that you showed me. I was trying to find it on Amazon but couldn’t find the title… the one the Australians produced with you included… can you post it here in the blog too so others can experience the Custom bike scene?
    Ciao
    Fred

Hey Fred! Glad to hear you made it back. The book is called CUSTOM BICYCLES, A Passionate Pursuit, by Christine Elliot. You can find it here: http://www.amazon.com/Custom-Bicycles-Passionate-Christine-Elliott/dp/186470313X

I’ll try to run it through the blog asap. In the meantime you can page through it via Amazon or Google Books. Thanks for the post.

p.s. did you see you’ve been immortalized on the blog a few days ago! Ciao!
